Being part of the Match.com family, OKCupid Labs was asked to experiment and explore what a couples based product could look like. Running under the initiative of creating happier, fuller lives through shared experiences, Delightful was created and tested from Labs on desktop web, mWeb, and mobile phones. Delightful provided users with local date ideas, crafted by concierges, as well as the possibility of creating something custom from scratch. Through multiple development phases, rounds of user testing, and user focused beta testing, the iOS app and web app were both released for Match to explore what happens beyond the connection.
I like to map things out loosely to begin
Going screen by screen through the experience, I like to get a rough idea of how key screens and features can play out
Taking sketches and key screen comps, I partnered with a PM and mapped out the experiences before going totally digital or prototyping
